HiFiMan RE300h In-Ear Earphone Review

” The RE300h takes the HiFiMan house sound and makes it more consumer-friendly by skewing the usual near-neutral balance in a warmer, bassier direction. In 2009 – three generations back in HiFiMan terms – the RE1 model attempted something similar but it was pricier and suffered from relatively low efficiency, which made it less well-suited for the mainstream consumer. The RE300h has no such problems – it’s easy to drive and the bassy and forgiving sound signature feels right at home at $50.”

” The combination was certainly able to produce high sound pressure levels, make no mistake. The frequency range they reproduced was wide and reasonably uniform.

“The screen lacks the ability to show artwork as well. This may not be a big deal to some listeners but viewing an album’s artwork while listening to the album would be a nice option. And unlike some of the competition, the HA-90SD does not offer Bluetooth (or Wi-Fi) streaming to a wireless speaker system, like for example, the Astell & Kearn AK-100 Mark II.”

“This couple of players definitely has the sense of the rhythm. It is apparent while listening to “Girl Talk” by Oscar Peterson (SACD Universal). The recording by Hans Georg Brunner-Schwer gives us a pleasant piano and drum cymbals very accurate. The charleston seems to be right here between the loudspeakers. ”
LABKABLE CUSTOM IEM CABLE REVIEW:
September 1, 2015 Comments Off on LABKABLE CUSTOM IEM CABLE REVIEW:
“It comes with an octo braid tubed design as opposed to the Takumi’s flat cable design. The cable is designed to be extremely low impedance using a combination of silver wire along with low resistance solder. The Blue Horizon cable has also received a special anti-oxidation coating in order to stop discolouration and degradation over the long term. In use now it has been my go to for when out and about sound is crystal clear just as it should be.”
