This is simply the best value for a portable pair of headphones/IEMs that I’ve come across and if you don’t require noise isolation due to their open-back design, I can think of no better option! “In fact, the majority of sources have been far more capable than what someone who spends under $100 on earphones would be driving them from. Of course, they sounded incredible paired with the Opus #1, AK120 and Questyle QP1r but that is definitely overkilled. You don’t really need more than your phone to enjoy listening to the E3000. ”

” The majority of the YK1 bass weight is focused on mid-bass warmth and fullness between 80Hz to 200Hz. The driver is not quite as powerful sounding as the SK1 but retains the same tonal balance on its low end. Bass roll-off is gradual starting around 80Hz and falling away a little more dramatically sub-50Hz with around a 5-6dB drop to 20Hz.

” Accuracy was never going to be an issue considering Vision Ears already had initial scans from a few years back. The only way these would not fit like a glove would be if my ear canal suddenly changed shape or the workmanship dropped. Honestly, I put my money on the former over the latter such is the consistency of the shell accuracy over all 3 reviewed thus far.”

“That being said, make no mistake – the Quad is able to scale up pretty nicely with a better source. Paired with the Chord Mojo it was flat-out impressive and hard to actually stop listening to. The powerful dynamics, best-in-class sub-bass, velvety mids and grand staging always kept me flipping for one more song… how fitting. Overall, I’d happily recommend this IEM to pretty much anyone searching for an earphone around at the $199 price point. It’s hard not to get excited about a product that performs at such a high level for such a reasonable asking price. As dollar-for-dollar value goes, it looks like 1MORE has knocked it out of the park once again”
