” The cables are detachable. This is something we are seeing more and more of in earphones at all price ranges. It lets users change or replace the cable at a low cost without the need for buying and entirely new set if things go wrong. As the Pinnacle P1 are worn over the ear there are no microphonics at all and in day to day use we found the cable to be well behaved and resistant to tangles. Its not quite the premium feel you get on Vsonic’s GR07 or as stylish as some of my custom cables but it gets the job done.”

” The Alpha & Delta D2M are a solid set of inexpensive sweat resistant sports earphones. Perfect for working out on long runs or bumming about the gym. They sound good for the price and are definitely tuned for working out. They look good and despite a couple of issues with the cable are very well made and hold up well under some tough testing. For $40 it’s very hard to go wrong here and it’s nice to see Lendmeurears off to a good start in their solo venture into portable audio products.”

“On the upper mids: this is a very important area for me. When an IEM gives sibilance it immediately becomes a disappointment to me. Fortunately the Maverick is also successful with the upper mid control: it never sounds harsh if the recording and the source have reasonable quality. Another plus here.”
