Having said that the bass itself it not as focused or natural as I think it could be. It does lack a little definition and doesn’t really extend that deep (much like the 3030 system I had in terms of sub-bass roll off) residing more at mid-bass level and this is more or less amplified rather than extended when using the bass boos”

“Having faster transients, the instrument separation is very good. At first I thought LCD-3 has better instrument separation because of the more laid back sound and better instrument extension. However LCD-X betters the 3 here because the instruments are better contoured and their position are easier to pick because of this”
