” The track sounds big, bold – even quite boisterous. There’s serious weight and power on show, as wave after wave of orchestral attack crashes down on the listener.”

“Aurender has pulled out all the stops to create a one-of-a-kind audio experience by using Solid-State-Drive cached playback from its internal HD. The unit caches music for playback from its internal HD, eliminating latency, electrical interference and noise resulting from spinning hard drives and compact discs. The result is amazingly clean output. With up to an impressive 12TB (X100L 12TB model) storage capability, it can accommodate more than 20,000 CDs and high- resolution music tracks in uncompressed WAV format. ” found myself enjoying all music sources including NAS-based, USB drive-based, internet radio, bluetooth from my iPhone, CD-quality and high resolution recordings. The NP30 certainly rewards better quality recordings but even lessor fare fared well enough for listening pleasure. This is not always the case for me, especially for internet radio which can sound thin and fragile and irritating but the NP30s way with tone and body made even low bit rate streams sound just fine. ”
