“The biggest Sopra might not represent the same astonishing balance of virtues as the No.2 – or be quite the bargain that the No.2 most definitely is – but its ability to dig deeper into the recording, to get closer to the original event and bring that performance to life makes it significantly more impressive and engaging than its smaller brother, once you hang it on the end of a high-end system.
