” I wish I knew how the Burr Brown version sounded in relation to the Sabre version I have here but since I don’t have that, I’ll just say what it does against the inexpensive Schiit MODI DAC. The MODI is really great for the price but against the ESS Sabre DAC, the MODI is a little bright sounding in comparison and the soundstage of the MODI flattens coming from the Sabre connected via USB input.”
