Swiss company Goldmund has announced the launch of its Telos 4800 Mono Power Amplifier, described as encapsulating: “the technical brilliance of the Telos 8800 within a more compact form”.

Boasting a maximum power output of 1,050W RMS at 8ohm, an ultra-low total harmonic distortion of less than 0.005 percent across 20Hz to 20kHz and a dynamic range measured at 117dB with a 22kHz bandwidth, the Telos 4800: “can drive even very low impedance speakers without compromising distortion levels, adapting to any speaker configuration”.
