“In comparison, the Audeze cans sound a little withdrawn and more distant, not quite as intimate. On the other hand, and to put things in perspective, the bass was tighter and less bloomy, the sense of space and openness was greater, and there was a greater sense of ease and refinement with the LCD-3, and to a little lesser extent, the LCD-X.”
