PlusSound Palladium Fusion Hybrid $1,999 Review

The Palladium Fusion Hybrid is a seriously impressive cable, and its most important contribution is not simply adding more detail or changing the tonal balance. What it does exceptionally well is bring the presentation into a much more organised and consistent state.

The first thing I noticed was how much cleaner and sharper the overall presentation became. Separation improves noticeably, while imaging becomes more precise and better defined. This is particularly apparent with high-end IEMs such as the 64 Audio U18t and Canpur CP622B, where the resolving capability of the earphones allows the Palladium Fusion Hybrid to show what it can really do.

Resolution is arguably its most impressive quality. With stock cables, the music can feel as if there is a certain distance between you and the stage. With the Palladium Fusion Hybrid, it is almost as if two additional layers of that distance have been removed. You feel noticeably closer to the recording, with more information reaching you more cleanly and immediately.
