NICEHCK NX7 PRO

I decided to change it up and move to the Classical genre. I started with Sergei Rachmaninoff’s “Vocalise, Op. 34”. This is one of my favorite pieces and it did not disappoint on the NX7 Pros. The mids were nicely pronounced, especially when the oboes come in. The background was entirely black and the highs did not feel “too sharp” as many of the more affordable IEMs often do when playing classical but were still a little pronounced.”

EMPIRE EARS HERO $1,349 REVIEW
October 28, 2020 Comments Off on EMPIRE EARS HERO $1,349 REVIEW
“The Hero can be put down in a few sentences as a monitor with impactful, authoritative and extended lows. It has a beautifully smooth mid-range that puts upper mids lightly forward. Vocals
on the Hero stand out the most as its best quality in my opinion. The treble is a bit conflicting, as it can be on the edge of sharpness at times, but generally it has an agile top that delivers a great
sense of air.
Hero reaches deep into the sub-bass and does so with good drive. It has a slightly forward bass presence, that does not overshadow any other frequency range. Hero does keep its lows well”

SHOZY FORM 1.4 REVIEW

“The sound of the Shozy Form 1.4 is on the warm side with an apparent and definitive midbass. The Form 1.1 was a bit v-shaped overall, but its bigger brother is more balanced although preserving some of its traits.
All in all the IEM sounds full-bodied, warm, organic, and musical. While doing that, it offers good technical qualities for its price range, once again proving Shozy’s abilities to put up an IEM that is certainly impressive for the money.”

MEZE AUDIO RAI SOLO REVIEW
October 12, 2020 Comments Off on MEZE AUDIO RAI SOLO REVIEW
“The general sound signature of the Rai Solo is bright, airy, and with an upward shift in frequency dominance towards the upper mid-range. I found it fairly cold and tending towards a balanced accuracy of reproduction than a smothered mid-range to help with being fun and multi-genre friendly. It’s an IEM with a purpose and it knows what it’s targeting. ”

IBASSO IT00 REVIEW
October 5, 2020 Comments Off on IBASSO IT00 REVIEW
“Generous amounts of bass would normally go hand in hand with some bass bleed into the midrange, but the IT00 was able to avoid this. I think this was accomplished by having a clear and articulate driver.
The male vocal range is more neutral with the dipped lower-mids (from around 500Hz to 1k) but posts 1k female or higher pitching vocals have a much stronger presence with a solid 1-3k rise.Percussion in the upper mids also has some nice presence and bite with some quality contrast pulling from the upper treble sparkle and low-end power.”
